The Titanic was not a cruise ship in the modern sense of the term. It was actually an ocean liner, designed for transatlantic travel between Europe and North America. Unlike cruise ships, which are primarily for leisure and entertainment, the Titanic was built for speed and luxury, with a focus on transporting passengers and mail across the Atlantic. The Titanic's tragic sinking in 1912 has contributed to its enduring fame and fascination. **

Model building can be attractive to many people for a variety of reasons. For some, it offers a creative and hands-on outlet for self-expression and artistic skills. Others may be drawn to the historical and technical aspects of building accurate replicas of real-life objects. Additionally, model building can be a relaxing and meditative hobby, providing a break from the fast-paced nature of modern life. Overall, the appeal of model building lies in the satisfaction of creating something tangible and the opportunity to immerse oneself in a world of precision and detail. **

While the Titanic was considered luxurious for its time, it would not be considered luxurious by today's standards. Modern cruise ships offer a wide range of amenities and features that far surpass what the Titanic had to offer. Additionally, advancements in technology and safety regulations would likely make the Titanic's design and features outdated and inadequate for today's standards. **

The Titanic was indeed a big ship for its time, but by today's standards, it would be considered relatively small. Modern cruise ships are significantly larger, with some being over 1,000 feet long and capable of carrying thousands of passengers. The Britannic was the third and final Olympic-class ocean liner built by the White Star Line, the same company that built the Titanic. The Britannic was intended to be a larger and safer version of the Titanic, but it also met a tragic fate when it sank in 1916 after hitting a mine during World War I. **

No, model building is not becoming extinct. While advancements in technology have made it easier to create digital models, there is still a demand for physical models in various industries such as architecture, engineering, and product design. Physical models provide a tangible representation of a concept or design that can be more easily understood and evaluated. Additionally, model building can also be a hobby for many people who enjoy the hands-on aspect of creating something from scratch. Therefore, model building continues to have relevance and value in today's world. **
